“At university, I worked with a team to develop a combination of natural, non-steroidal ingredients that had a great anti-inflammatory and soothing effect on the skin. We wanted to get this active blend into a useable form so that it could be easily applied to reduce muscle fatigue in athletes, but we had very limited personal care experience within our group. We approached Crafted to help us develop a stable product that could be used as a muscle rub. They worked quickly to make it into a cream that they manufacture for us at their site. The product is now promoted and sold around the country, and helps runners and cyclists recover more quickly following a gruelling workout.”

Well, we fuse our absurdly geeky know-how of molecules, compounds, and concoctions together with a flair for brand building. Our Crafted team isn't just a bunch of chemists and marketers. Some of us (Adam and Lisa, our two directors) are commercial chemists with proven track records in product development and range expansion, growing successful businesses in personal care, homecare, and even industrial markets.

We've got a huge network of lovely ingredient suppliers so we can offer a whopping collection of chemical raw materials to your brand, too. Skincare actives, hair conditioners, emollients, emulsifiers, or simple foamy wetters – you name it, we can source the lot. Champion.
